After many years in the financial field, Marion decided to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a healer and enrolled in the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences to study Chinese medicine. Marion is a California licensed acupuncturist and familiar with the famous Master Tung points, which are particularly effective for pain and a wide variety of ailments.
Marion also studied with a highly accomplished tai chi teacher from Taiwan and learned the “Five Animal Play”, an ancient style of qi gong invented by the famous TCM physician, Hua Tuo. She currently teaches this qi gong at two senior centers in Oakland. Marion is a faculty member at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences and also volunteers at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic as an acupuncturist, working with under-served women with cancer.
